Slain Eastern Pa. Man Has 2 Identities

READING, Pa. (AP) – Some crimes are considered whodunits. But police in one eastern Pennsylvania city are trying to figure out not only who shot a man, but which of the victim’s two identities is correct.

The Reading Eagle reports that Reading police don’t know if the man shot Friday night is 30-year-old Galdino Pablo Aquilar, or 28- year- old Juan Pablo Orihuela Alvarado.

Police say fingerprints taken by the Berks County coroner’s office identified the victim as Aquilar, but they say a foreign identification card listed the other identity.

Results from an autopsy Saturday were still pending.

Police have a suspect in the shooting, but have not released a name or description.
