Grace Academy 3
Grace Academy swept Fulton County Community Christian School last Friday in three straight sets recorded at 25-11, 25-23 and 25-11. For the Chargers, Jenae Gordon had seven service points, four kills and five digs. Teammate Rachel Weibly followed with 10 service points, and Hannah Beddow tallied eight assists. Sarah Gingerich finished with six points and three kills.

Northern Bedford 2
Southern Fulton fought back last Thursday to pull off a narrow 3-2 Sideling Hill League win over Northern Bedford. Macey Hollenshead rallied for nine kills and 15 service points, while Maggie Deneen totalled 23 digs. Peyton Koons had 12 assists and two aces, while Cheyenne Koons tallied 10 digs.
Chestnut Ridge 3
Chestnut Ridge handed McConnellsburg its very first loss of the season with a 3-2 Sideling Hill League win last Thursday. Jessi Keefer again led the Lady Spartans with 17 kills and seven blocks, while Sarah Hollenshead had 11 kills. Gabby Danner totalled 27 assists, and Becca Green had 30 digs and three aces.
Carlisle Christian 1
Fulton County Community Christian School continued its winning streak last Tuesday with a successful 3- 1 victory over Carlisle Christian. Hannah Beddow totalled 21 service points and 10 aces, while teammate Jenae Gordon added on 19 service points and eight aces. Rachel Weibly chipped in eight kills, and Sarah Gingerich dished out nine assists.

In their first Sideling Hill League meet of the season, Southern Fulton easily prevailed over Chestnut Ridge with Benji Voight garnering an overall first-place finish last Thursday. Voight finished the race in 19:27, while Jacob Pryor and Nathan Leedy were second and third with their respective times of 19:28 and 21:16. Casey Elbin was in sixth place with a time of 21:37. Teammates Zach Clark, Sterling Bard, Jacob Dudich and Logan Beatty wrapped up the meet winning seventh through 10th place.

Chestnut Ridge 34
Seven members of the Southern Fulton Lady Indians finished in the top 10 last Thursday for a 25-34 win over Chestnut Ridge. Olivia Mottern had a second-place finish after recording an overall time of 25:34, while Madison Baker was third with her time of 26:02. Emma Williams’ time of 26:33 earned her a fifthplace win, and Linsey Pryor, Christian Bright, Drew Hann and Brianne Wawro secured seventh-through 10th-place finishes.
Three McConnellsburg Lady Spartans combined for seven goals last Thursday during a 9-1 trouncing of the Everett Warriors. Alexis Mellott connected for three goals, and teammates Abby Peck and Sam Roberts had two goals each during the Sideling Hill League match. Leah Mellott and Michaela Kendall each had a goal as well. Those providing assists were Roberts (3), Peck (2), A. Mellott, Brittany Parson and Hannah Ott. Goalie Sarrah Pollock picked up the win with five saves.

McConnellsburg preserved its winning record last Tuesday with a big 4-1 Sideling Hill League victory over Chestnut Ridge. Abby Peck and Alexis Mellott both scored two goals for the Lady Spartans. Peck and Mellott along with teammates Haley Garlock and Leah Mellott dished out assists. Sarrah Pollock racked up yet another victory in goal with six saves.

The McConnellsburg Spartans picked up their very first win of the fall season last Wednesday evening, downing Southern Fulton with three unanswered goals. Tristin Deneen scored two goals, and Landon Richards chipped in the Spartans’ final goal of the Sideling Hill League game. Colton Strait added an assist, while goalie Nick Daniels preserved the shutout with nine saves. Indian goalkeeper Shad Gordon finished the league match with 11 saves.
Forbes Road 0
Fannett-Metal expanded on its one-goal lead following the halftime break last Wednesday and wrapped up the Sideling Hill League win over Forbes Road 4-0. For the Cardinals, goalkeeper Macklin Hawkins finished out the match with eight saves.
