Festival of Lights Continues

The Fulton County Festival of Lights organized by members of the Fulton County Fair Association kicked off the much-anticipated, third annual event last weekend with a live nativity scene, hot drinks and snacks for the kids and, of course, lots of Christmas lights to dazzle the eye. Among the businesses, organizations and churches taking part were the Walnut Grove Church of God, whose congregation acted out a live nativity scene, and the Pleasant Union Church in Clearville, Bedford County, that provided a beautiful lighted nativity for the 422 vehicles that passed through the two-night display of Christmas lights. The Festival of Lights will continue this weekend at the fairgrounds from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. both Friday and Saturday.
