Movie Night Needmore Volunteer Fire Co. will hold a movie night December 12 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. downstairs in the old building. Children of all ages are welcome to come out for a fun-filled evening. The movie will be “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas.” Popcorn and drinks will be served.

Open Stage Hustontown Volunteer Fire Co. will hold an open stage Saturday, December 19, at 6 p.m. Kitchen opens at 5 p.m. Free admission.

Mic Night Mic Night will be held at Warfordsburg Senior Center December 12, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Kitchen opens at 4 p.m. Food and drink will be available. Monetary donations are appreciated. Everyone is welcome. For more information call 717-294-6020.

Free Movie Fulton County Library will host a free showing of “Minions” Friday, December 11, at 6:10 p.m., in the community room.

Shooting Match A shooting match will be held at Hustontown Firehall New Year’s Day at 1 p.m., for 12-, 16- and 20- gauges. First- and second-place prizes will be awarded. A special round will be shot for a hog. Everyone must shoot all 10 rounds to be able to shoot for the hog round.

Cookie Walk A cookie walk will be held at St. Paul UCC, 4822 Steele Ave., Lemasters, December 12, from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Cost is $4 for a baker’s dozen.

Open Mic Night Acoustic Open Mic Night will be held at McConnellsburg Senior Center, Monday, December 14, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Food and drinks will be available. Door prizes will be given away. Tickets will be sold for a turkey and gift card raffle. Hosted by Larry Cooper. More information may be obtained by calling 485-5613.

Shooting Matches Hustontown Volunteer Fire Co. will sponsor shooting matches Saturday, December 19, and a New Year’s Day hog shoot, January 1, at 1 p.m., for 12-, 16- and 20-gauges. Prizes awarded for first and second place. Watch paper for future dates.

Manure Management Workshop A manure management plan writing workshop will be held December 10, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., at Dott Store, south of Needmore on Rte. 522. By law, all farms generating/using manure must have a manure management plan. Come write your own plan. Contact Fulton County Conservation District at 717-485-3547, Ext. 116, to register.

Meals Available Once a month volunteers pack up boxes of food to be given to anyone in need in the Waterfall area. Pickup is at Center United Methodist Church community building on Doran Road, Waterfall. More information may be obtained by calling 814-685-3780. Calls will be kept strictly confidential.

Christmas Lunch Warfordsburg Senior Center will have a Christmas lunch December 16 with an Elvis tribute to follow at 1 p.m. Cost will be $10 and tickets need to be purchased by December 14. There will be limited seating. Contact 717- 294-6020 for information and ticket purchase.

Free Lunch The first Friday of every month a free and nutritious lunch is served in the Faith & Life Center at Mc- Connellsburg United Methodist Church on the courthouse square from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Free Meal A free meal will be served the second Tuesday of each month at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 220 North Third Street. Please join in for good fellowship.

Nar Anon Cancelled Weekly meetings for Nar Anon have been cancelled. Anyone needing more information about Nar Anon should go to www.nar-anon.org.

Alcoholics Anonymous Meetings Alcoholics Anonymous meetings are held every Monday morning at 11 a.m. (even holidays) in the Pearl Room, second floor of Fulton County Medical Center, and every Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the basement of Mc- Connellsburg Alumni Building, located at 301 East Maple Street. Both are open meetings that anyone can attend.

Bloodmobile A bloodmobile will be held December 10 at Warfordsburg Faith Center from 1 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Narcotics Anonymous Narcotics Anonymous will meet at 7 p.m. Sunday nights in Fulton County Medical Center in the Pearl Room. NA is a nonprofit fellowship or society of men and women for whom drugs had become a major problem. Membership is open to all drug addicts, regardless of the particular drug or combination of drugs used (including alcohol). Anyone is welcome. Sportsmen’s League Meeting Fulton County Sportsmen’s League will meet at 7 p.m. in the stone house at the trout nursery December 18. Officers and board members for 2016 will be nominated and elected.

CHRISTMAS PROGRAMS

Children’s Christmas Musical The children’s musical “A Tree Lot Christmas,” by Celeste and David Clydesdale, will be presented December 20, at 7 p.m., at Warfordsburg Faith Center. The public is invited to hear the message of the season as told by the children in word and song.

Christmas Program Laurel Ridge Christian Church will hold a Christmas program Friday, December 11, and Satur- day, December 12, at 7 p.m. All are welcome to attend and enjoy the blessings of music, song and talent. A play, “Candy Kane Christmas,” will be held.

Christmas Musical “Stories of Our Savior,” a Christmas musical, will be presented for the public Friday, December 11, at 7 p.m., at Fulton County Community Christian School, 8159 Great Cove Road, Needmore. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the story and singing to prepare their hearts for Christmas.

Christmas Musical The Christmas musical “Changed By A Baby Boy,” will be presented by McConnellsburg United Methodist Church Sunday, December 13, at 7 p.m. This is a Southern gospel work that celebrates His birth and what it means to each and everyone.
