Dean Wins Governor’s Achievement Award

Joshua Dean was presented with the Governor’s Achievement Award by the Pennsylvania office of Vocational Rehabilitation OVR on May 14 at the Pennsylvania Workforce Development Association Conference held in Hershey.

Dean is an OVR customer through the Altoona BVRS District Office. With OVR’s assistance, he obtained a position as an associate claims processor with Highmark Blue Shield in Camp Hill, working full-time with full benefits. He moved to the Camp Hill area while continuing to receive support with the relocation as well as starting and retaining employment. Dean is the son of Charles and Alleene Dean of McConnellsburg.
