Mischief Reported

A 56-year- old McConnellsburg man told state police investigators his front door suffered damage between 4 p.m. on May 4 and 10 a.m. on May 5. The mischief occurred on the 9000 block of Lincoln Highway in Licking Creek Township.

Woman Accused Of Harassment

Pennsylvania State Police in McConnellsburg have charged Big Pool, Md., resident Jessica Lynn McQuade with harassment through the office of Magisterial District Judge Wendy Mellott.

Charges against Mc- Quade stem from an alleged incident at 217 North Crystal Drive in Todd Township on Thursday, April 17. McQuade is accused of arguing with a 37-year-old Hancock, Md., woman at 10:10 p.m. and slamming her hand on the victim’s leg while the woman was lying in bed.

Cited For Careless Driving

A Hancock, Md., man faces charges of careless driving in connection with a twovehicle accident along Thompson Road on Friday, April 25.

According to state police reports, Bradley W. Palmer, 40, of Warfordsburg, was travelling downhill at a speed of approximately 5 miles per hour while waiting for oncoming traffic to pass at 2:12 p.m. Palmer reportedly attempted to make a left-hand turn onto Johnsons Mill Road when his 1989 Kenworth T800 was rear-ended by a southbound 1978 Mack Silage operated by Bruce E. Pryor, 51, of Hancock.

As a result of the impact, police said Palmer’s dump truck was pushed into the eastbound lane and overturned, causing its load to spill onto the ground. The dump truck suffered minor damage to its right side as well as structural damage to the dump bed. Pryor was able to guide his truck onto the berm with major front end damage, police added. Both trucks were towed from the scene.

Palmer was transported to Fulton County Medical Center by a family member for treatment of minor injuries. Pryor was not injured. Both men were wearing seat belts.

Theft Reported

A 32- year- old Harrisonville man told state police investigators the transmission was stolen from his Ford Mustang that was parked on Piney Lane in Brush Creek Township between April 14 and 30. Anyone having further information pertinent to this theft is urged to contact state police Trooper Remeikas at 717-485-3131.

Charges Pending

Charges are pending the results of laboratory testing, Pennsylvania State Police in McConnellsburg reported. In responding to an incident at Fulton County Medical Center on Tuesday, April 29, at 8:10 p.m., troopers alleged Adam Michael Carr, 25, Mc- Connellsburg, was found in possession of drug paraphernalia.

Teen Accused Of Mischief

A 17-year-old Warfordsburg boy has been accused of criminal mischief and harassment following an incident on the 15000 block of Buck Valley Road on Tuesday, April 29. State police said the juvenile was involved in a verbal and physical altercation and set fire to a building at 9: 20 p. m. Charges are pending further investigation.

DUI Charges Filed

Charges of driving under the influence and the use or possession of drug paraphernalia have been filed against 26-year- old Warfordsburg resident James Keith Bradley. Pennsylvania State Police in McConnellsburg stopped Bradley for a traffic violation along Route 655 near the intersection of Great Cove Road on Tuesday, April 29. During the 7:08 p.m. stop, police alleged Bradley was operating under the influence and possessed drug paraphernalia.

Harassment In War fordsburg

Pennsylvania State Police in McConnellsburg were dispatched to investigate an alleged case of harassment on the 1500 block of Buck Valley Road on Thursday, April 24. Police said McConnellsburg resident Daniel Emerson Strait is accused of shoving a female victim at her Warfordsburg residence at 6 p.m. Charges against Strait have been filed through Magisterial District Judge Tamela Heming.

Maryland Woman Cited In Syringe Theft

A Hancock, Md., woman faces charges of theft by unlawful taking or disposition and harassment after she tried to steal syringes from a local doctor’s office.

Pennsylvania State Police alleged 57-year-old Gladys Darlene McClary attempted to steal 50 syringes on Thursday, May 1, from the 318 North First Street, Mc- Connellsburg, office of Dr. William L. Milroth. In an attempt to flee the office at 12:54 p.m., McClary reportedly caused minor injuries to a 44-year-old Three Springs woman.

Vehicle Strikes Tree

A southbound vehicle struck a tree along Blacks Mountain Road on Thursday, May 1, just south of the intersection of Witter Road. Nineteen-year-old McConnellsburg resident John Michael Clippinger reportedly failed to negotiate a lefthand curve in the Taylor Township roadway at 10:11 p.m., state police said.

Police did not report if Clippinger was injured or using a seat belt. State police were assisted on the scene by Lilley’s Towing and the Hustontown Area Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Co.

Man Arrested For Paraphernalia Possession

A Franklin County man has been arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia on Saturday, May 3.

Pennsylvania State Police in McConnellsburg alleged 25-year-old Chambersburg resident Shawn David Bumbaugh was found in possession of three needles and a plastic spoon with suspected heroin residue. The discovery was made on the 1000 block of Lincoln Way East at 2:46 a.m. for an outstanding warrant issued by Franklin County.

Two Jailed In Domestic Dispute

Two McConnellsburg residents were remanded to the Franklin County Prison in lieu of bail in connection with a domestic dispute at 308 Oliver Drive.

According to state police, on Sunday, May 4, Tara Louise Mellott, 26, and 42- year-old Troy Allan Ramsey allegedly struck one another, causing injuries. Mellott and Ramsey were arraigned following the 10:32 p.m. incident in Ayr Township by Magisterial District Judge Wendy Mellott.

Local Man Accused Of Trespassing

Pennsylvania State Police in McConnellsburg have charged 26-year- old Mc- Connellsburg resident Brian Travis McCartney with criminal trespassing through the office of Magisterial District Judge Wendy Mellott. Mc- Cartney allegedly trespassed at 71 Woodside Drive, Mc- Connellsburg, on Friday, May 2, at 9:43 p.m.

Hustontown Woman Investigated

Pennsylvania State Police in Carlisle are continuing to investigate an incident involving a Hustontown area woman. Police alleged Tammy Fortney, 54, of Hustontown, recently threw three small white plastic balls at two juvenile boys while inside a vehicle. The boys, police noted, were on bicycles when the incident occurred.
