NOTICE

Sealed proposals will be received by Dublin Township, Fulton County, at PO Box 719, McConnellsburg, PA 17233, until 6 p.m. on August 14, 2018, for the following:

Item 1: 1,000 ton warm mix wearing course, 9.5mm, in place.

Item 2: 333 ton aggregate shoulder in place.

Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $870 per calendar day. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the municipality.

For third-class cities the bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10 percent of the bid, made payable to the municipality. For other municipal types it is the discretion of the municipality. A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100 percent of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded.

The municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.

Licking Creek Township is soliciting bids for the culvert and prefab headwalls (materials only) to be delivered unassembled to the project site located at T-407 West Dutch Corner Road over Patterson Run:

1. Aluminum structural plate single radius arch culvert w/full invert 23-foot span x 8-foot-11-inch rise at 55- foot length (bottom centerline).

2. Prefab aluminum structural plate headwalls.

Prefab headwalls (2 total) – approx. size 31.5 feet wide x 11 feet tall

Printed copies of the culvert specifications and preliminary construction plan may be obtained from the township office by contacting LuAnne Keebaugh, secretary, at 717-830-3115. The documents are also available in portable document file (PDF) format and can be emailed to the prospective bidder. The sealed bids will be due at 4 p.m., August 9, 2018, and will be opened at 6:30 p.m., at the township meeting.
